My name is Heidy and I’m a designer.
I graduated in 2008 from ISDi (Higher Institute of Design) in Havana, Cuba as a Diploma Graphic Designer.
Afterwards I worked for nearly 5 years at an Art Publishing House, Artecubano Ediciones, where I designed countless media for art events and exhibitions: books, newspapers, catalogues, booklets, as well as the visual identity for these events. Meanwhile I also worked as a freelance designing websites, corporate image for different enterprises and catalogues for artists.
After a while working in Cuba, I realized I wanted to see more, learn other ways of seeing and doing design. I won a DAAD-scholarship for making a master in Germany. I learned German and studied Editorial Design at the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle.
